Sister Stamps Graduation Pillow Box

Hi Guys!

For my 2nd project as guest designer for Sister Stamps, I used the adorable Graduation stamp.  How cute is this grad all covered up in congratulatory leis :)

I decided to create a pillow box using the WeRMemory Keepers punch board and decorated it with  the Graduation stamp.  Isn't it a great way to enclose a gift - jewelry or a gift card to your special graduate?

Guest Designer for Sister Stamps :)

Hi everyone!!

I am so excited and honored to be the Guest Designer for Sister Stamps this month!! I was thrilled when Jenny asked me to be her next Guest Designer :) woo hoo! {happy dance}.

I absolutely adore all their stamps.  I have been a fan for a while now.  They are made from excellent quality, red rubber and are already mounted.  All you need to do is peel the white paper backing and place them on an acrylic block and you are all set.  You can also trim them so the edges don't catch extra ink- I was too excited to play with them that I didn't even bother trimming them :)  Honestly, if you know you will be fussy cutting the image anyway, there's really no need to trim the stamp (in my opinion).

This month's release includes two beautiful images- Wedding & Graduate.  Perfect timing for all those spring and summer weddings, and graduations.  I absolutely love the Wedding image.

I love weddings and one quote that comes to mind is, "and two shall become one".  So when I was thinking about what to create using the Wedding image, I immediately thought of creating a gate fold card.  This would be perfect to convey the feeling of two people joining together to become one.

I started by using an 8-1/2" x 11" sheet of card stock and trimming it to 5" x10".  This will create a square card at 5".  Rather than scoring the card stock in half, you score 2.5" from either end of the card stock.  When you fold on the score lines, the edges should meet in the middle.

Hi Guys!

Just wanted to pop in and share a quick card I made last week for a good friend of mine.  I haven't had a chance to do a process video yet so to make it quick and easy, here's the photo:

I used mamaelephant's pandamonium stamp which I totally love!! The sentiment is from SimonSaysStamp. and the pretty patterned paper is from Doodlebug sweet treats.

Guest Designer for Little Blue Button Stamps :)

Hi everyone!

I am super excited to share that I was asked to be the guest designer for Little Blue Button Stamps!  I was shocked and honored at the same time.  Olga sent me 3 digi images to work with.  I chose the "Everyone needs a hug" image.  For those of you who are new to digi images, they are fairly simple to work with.

Here is what I did using my Mac and HP printer:

1. First, I downloaded the image.  
2. For me, the easiest way to print them out was to click on the image, and select print from the top menu bar.  
3. Once the print window popped up, I went to the "show details" option and was able to select how many copies of the images to print on the page.  I chose to print 6 on a page which creates the perfect sized image to feature on a card.
4. I loaded my printer with Neena's solar white card stock (use whatever paper you like to color on).
5. I usually wait at least a day or so before I start coloring just to make sure the printer ink does not smudge when I start to color.

What I love about the images is that it has such great detail.  This makes it easier to know which areas to shade.  Here is my process video on YouTube:

Daniela's Twin Birthday Challenge

"Special Delivery" Card

Last week, I found out that HipKitClub was having a design team call so I decided to try out.  They wanted photos of 3 layouts and 3 cards, with 1 layout and 1 card made specifically for the submission.  Yesterday, I was able to create a card and a layout just for the design team call.  Not only that, I created a process video! Yay, me! Wish me luck :)
